This is the second day of the mission trip. Our goal is to build a ramp for a
family so the wife, Mildred, will be able to leave her house. Thankfully, the
second day of the mission trip went a lot better than the first. The first day, we did not receive our
supplies at all. As a result, we
were not able to get any work done (except dig a couple of holes). While we did not receive our wood until
noon, some of the adults went to Lowe’s to pick up some wood. We managed to get a lot of work done
and nearly complete the ramp. It
started storming, so we had to head back.
Back at the campsite, we were served delicious pulled pork with mashed
potatoes. All in all, it was a
good day where we worked hard and finished lots of work.
