To start, New Jersey is an extremely hot place. On our way
here we passed a town with the name of “New Egypt” which explains the heat. During
our 12-hour drive we spent most of our time watching the DvD symbol on the TV
bounce directly into the corner. This kept many of us entertained for hours. We
also watched the 2005 romantic comedy called “Hitch” starring Will Smith…..
truly a masterpiece. During the first day we went to the house we are going to
be working on this whole week. It is a beautiful house on the Bayville canals
and has direct access to the ocean. Today we worked on applying spackle to the
drywall in the laundry room many times while sanding it down, we started
painting some rooms on the first floor as well. It honestly feels amazing to
finish up Michelle’s house and I can’t wait to finish the first floor and hear
her storm stories!
