Today was a really rewarding day. As a group, we were able to move 190,000
pounds of dirt from Donna and Danny’s house.
We shoveled, raked and moved sand from a huge pile to the crawl space
under her house. It was satisfying to
complete the whole task by noon, because we walked in thinking that we weren’t
even going to move half of it. It was
the best feeling to know that this small task made their day. After having such a rewarding day, we headed
to Seaside Park and had fun play8ing the in water and laying out in the
sun. After having a fun day in the sun,
we traveled to the famous Seaside Boardwalk, where we took a tour of the Jersey
Shore house and played dumb carnival games.
Overall, my day had so many highlights and I’m looking forward to see
how the rest of the week goes.
